The Smartpower Story

SmartPower electric bikes was started 12 years ago when Ed te Groen saw a gap in the market for electric bikes. SmartPower quickly grew and was known for their friendly and reliable service selling high quality Ebikes Nationwide.

In 2024 Ed exited the business and we brought it and relocated it from Motueka to the Northland town of Waipu. We offer the same high quality components such as Bafang, Shimano, Kenda, Tektro, Zoom etc.

All bikes come with a full manufacturers warranty and we off freight free throughout NZ.

Prices are kept low as you are buying directly from the importer. We also offer discounts to Grey Power, Gold Card holders and NZMCA members.
